About Adithan Arunachalam

A high-achieving student, Adithan Arunachalam, studied at KC High in Chennai, India, earning the Cambridge International Certificate of Education (ICE) Award, with Distinction, for passing his IGCSE exams. He had seven A*s and one A. Two years later, Adithan Arunachalam graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma.

As a student at KC High, Adithan Arunachalam co-founded the school’s debate and current affairs clubs. He served as the debate club’s co-president, organizing and leading debates on global issues while teaching debating skills. The club grew to become the largest in the school, with 25 percent of all students being members.

In addition, Adithan Arunachalam co-founded the school’s cricket team, holding positions as a top order batsman and opening pace bowler. He liaised with local cricket academies, organized practice sessions, and helped with team selection. He also coded a portal to help coaches track player statistics, and won player of the match several times.

Adithan Arunachalam also enjoys playing soccer, and competed on his school’s soccer team. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he hosted online training sessions for school members. He also tutored math, English, and history to a student from a low income household.

Adithan Arunachalam was a National Merit Scholarship Finalist (PSAT score of 1500 out of 1520 and SAT score of 1560 out of 1600). He has a Google IT Support Professional Certificate and is competent with Python and Java.
